The Department of Mathematics Guido Castelnuovo, University of Rome "La Sapienza" is one of the most important in Italy and holds a place of the highest order in the History of Mathematics. Even today, many teachers and researchers of the Department are internationally renowned scholars who continue an ancient tradition that began in 800. The Department continues to be home to many national and international research projects and is visited by many researchers and students from all over the world, contributing to the ongoing research and participate in various training activities.
