The Department Council consists of the following components

• tenured professors
• researchers, including those on temporary contracts, and equivalent personnel pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 382/1980 and Law no. 341/1990;
• chief administrative officer
• representatives of technical-administrative staff
• representatives of students (PhD students, postgraduates and students on degree courses of the Department's full scope);
• representatives of holders of scholarships or research grants or multi-year research contracts working in the Department.
