On the derivation of the Boltzmann-Nordheim equation for weakly interacting bosons

We investigate the behaviour of a gas of weakly interacting bosons in a box with periodic boundary conditions. Starting from a quasi-free truncation of the quantum BBGKY hierarchy and performing an ultraviolet cutoff, we show that up to some explicit errors, one can recover the evolution of the initial density of the gas through the Boltzmann-Nordheim equation.
