Photometric stereo is a computer vision technique which uses several images of a scene taken under different lights, in order to reconstruct the surface. Its resolution is better posed than shape-from-shading. Therefore, the results are much more satisfactory. In this talk, I will first recall the main features of photometric stereo. Then, I will focus on some recent new insights.
