I look at improving the $L^p$ regularity results of Stampacchia for solutions of a scalar elliptic equation with discontinuous coefficients, by using my approach of Sobolev imbedding theorem in Lorentz spaces, which gives the improved version of Jack Peetre, and in the limiting case the improved versions of Trudinger or of Brezis and Wainger.
