We reviewed some applications of the ADER scheme for linear, dimensionally reduced, hyperbolic systems of conservations laws. In the same spirit, in this talk we will present a study concerning the application of WENO-TVD schemes to fully 2D and 2.5D nonlinear set of equations. The performance of the scheme is analyzed in an extensive set of standard tests for advection and convection.
