In this talk I will overview the classical models for opinion formation dynamics and related problems (e.g. consensus problem and clustering phenomena) and I will introduce a model in which the agent space is the n-dimensional sphere. Preliminary theoretical and numerical results on the asymptotic behaviour of such a system will be also discussed. Joint work with M. Caponigro and B. Piccoli.
