Preservation of decay and regularity propagation in nonlinear dispersive equations In this talk we describe two properties of dispersive equations regarding the preservation or the improvement of the dacay or the regularity of the initial data as time evolves. Taking as main example the Korteweg-de Vries equation, we will see that if the initial data has an exponential decay of order 3/2 for x>0, similar to that of the fundamental solution, then the solution to the equation preserves this kind of decay, but it diminishes, in time. We also observe how, if the initial data has some degree of regularity or polynomial decay on the right of the x-axis, then this regularity propagates to the left at infinite speed for positive times, and the decay is transformed in regularity.

Fourier-Mukai partners of canonical covers in positive characteristic
We show that surfaces arising as canonical covers of Enriques and bielliptic surfaces do not have any non-trivial Fourier-Mukai partner, extending result of Sosna for complex surfaces. This is a joint work with K. Honigs and L. Lombardi.

On the Chern-Yamabe problem on non-Kähler manifolds
We study an analogue of the Yamabe problem for Hermitian manifolds: the Chern-Yamabe problem. More precisely, we prove the existence of Hermitian metrics having constant scalar curvature with respect to the Chern connection when the expected curvature is non-positive, and we investigate partial results in the positive curvature case.
