Fifth Summer School

Analysis and Applied Mathematics

The scope of the School is to introduce some developments in various fields of the Calculus of Variations to PhD students and young researchers in Analysis and Applied Mathematics.
The lectures are aimed at presenting a self-contained introduction to these subjects focussing mainly on the essential mathematical tools needed to face the most interesting problems.

Accommodation
Here you can find a list of Hotels near  campus.

Directions
The school will take place at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". The University is 15 minutes walking from the main station Termini and 5 minutes walking to the
area called San Lorenzo where you can find Hotels, Restaurants and pubs.  This is a map of the places where you can have lunch  near the campus.

The lectures will take place in two different lecture rooms: one is located in the building of the Department of Mathematics (Picone lecture room) wright in the lounge, and 
the other is located in the building of the CNR (a left side entrance in via dei Marrucini 1).

Timetable
The school will be starting monday 1st at 3.00 pm and ending friday 5th at 2.00 pm. Registration: monday at 2.30 pm (aula Picone)
