Abstract: On several types of fractals, it is possible to build a Dirichlet form in a natural way; it is also possible to define a dynamical system and we shall see that the Dirichlet form has a natural relation with the dynamics. On the dynamical side, we shall use this fact to study the distribution of periodic orbits on the fractal; on the analytical side we shall study the structure of the space of $L^2$ one-forms on the fractal.
