International Day of Girls and Women in Science

The United Nations General Assembly has declared 11 February as the “International Day of Women and Girls in Science” with the aim to “…achieve full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls, and further achieve gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls…”.
On this important occasion, the Physics Department of Sapienza University has organized an event for students, professors, researchers and all interested people, aimed at sharing data, emphasizing stereotypes, and discussing positive actions, comparing our Department with other Research and Academic Institutions in Italy and abroad.
